Earring Care
It is best not to wear your earrings in torrential downpour or to swim in them--this may cause the thread to stretch or shrink. The best way to store your earrings is by hanging or lay them flat them so the fringe or flat stitch can move freely. If your fringe earrings start to bunch up slightly, lie them flay on a padded surface (I usually use a thin towel) and gently roll your hand over the strands. Please do not sleep in your earrings.
Sliding Scale
The goal of using a sliding scale system is to encourage accessibility. I am not in any place to assess your financial situation and I trust you will choose to pay what you can.
Sliding scale codes cannot be combined with other coupons, discounts or sales nor do they expire.
Sliding scale pricing is only available on orders over $20.
To use sliding scale pricing use one of these codes at checkout:
- →SLIDINGSCALE5 (5% discount)
- →SLIDINGSCALE10 (10% discount)
- →SLIDINGSCALE15 (15% discount)

Who can wear Indigneous art?
As the artist and owner of this business, I encourage everyone to approach my beadwork with cultural appreciation. Embrace the art with respect and curiosity, learning about its cultural roots and supporting the empowerment of Indigenous artists and communities.
Cultural Appreciation: Cultural appreciation involves understanding and respecting the significance of Indigenous art within its cultural context. When individuals from diverse backgrounds wear and celebrate my beadwork with genuine respect and admiration for its craftsmanship and cultural significance, it becomes a positive form of cultural appreciation. Appreciation involves learning about the art's history, symbolism, and the stories it conveys, while acknowledging and supporting the Indigenous communities and artists who create these beautiful pieces.
Cultural Appropriation: On the other hand, cultural appropriation refers to the inappropriate adoption or use of elements from another culture without understanding or respecting their significance. It becomes problematic when aspects of Indigenous art, such as traditional designs or symbols, are used out of context, stripped of their cultural meaning, or commodified without proper acknowledgment or consent. Cultural appropriation can perpetuate harmful stereotypes, disrespect the cultural heritage, and lead to exploitation.
